there is much praise and publicity for someone like freddie roach, and rightly so, but i feel the uk version of roach is brendon ingle, his acomplishments acseed all other active trainers in uk, he trains boys from scratch to great acomplishments, his boxers dont need protecting, their good enough to take chances with, their not cherry picked from top of amateur ranks, and hes always got a hot prospect who's a local lad at british or world level, how many local lads has freddie got to that level.?:yep

good mention, he's a young trainer, who,s made a mark already, with groves and of course haye, but he's a way to go yet on some of the points ive brought up about brendon.:good

two good trainers, farnell ,a good fighter himself has done nothing wrong so far and most of his acolades are in front of him he's only young. galaghers been round the block a bit longer, has some good fighters that could take him nearer to elite level, but i still am not disuaded from beleiving ingle to be the most qualified to compete with top yanks.

wasent aware that roach trains amateurs, i know that herol graham , nazeem hamed jnr witter etc were all trained from the ground up by brendon, paqiuo khan and a few others in his wildcard gym have come from farther afeild to be improved, and roach is definatly improving them.

We're a bit lacking in this department. I think Woodhall and McCracken are quite promising but we're nowhere near as technical and professional as the likes of Roach.

Just look at DeGale on the pads before his fight, that was shocking. And its not his fault, he's supposed to be one of our biggest talents and he's with that guy.

It feels like we've got Allardyce as opposed to Mourinho at the moment.

yes good sparring does no harm , but the man in control needs judgement to no when to stop and to spot mistakes , and to teach a fighter to incorprate what he feels is needed for improvement.
