Felt a bit left down by the show in ul i suppose if Thiam had went 4 or 5 rounds it wuld have been diffrent but Andy was boxing brilliantly.
The rest was so so apart from a very good wn for Waldron he stuck to his plan for 10 rounds and Power never got to grips with it,Brave fooker though.
After that the rookies Mc Donagh and Donnellan impressed me although both have lot to learn about defence.Donnellans fight was a real thriller and he looks to have some good skills and a fair bit of power himself.Ryan clark for the second week running lost in a great bout,He'll be invited back.
Perez did what he had to but the second stoppage was abit dodge if you ask me.Nothing wrong with Murrays stoppage though Unsworth eye was very bad and Murray was boxing well within himself.
Garcia Sipos wasnt great to watch apart from the bit of clog dancing by sipos Sweeney just kept busy against a tough Tolan.
I really like the ul arena for fights though and hope that Andy gets his euro chance there in "the fall" as Peters kept saying.

Ah poor oul Marty, what was he thinking. He must have been thrown an extra tenner to try and ramp up the excitement.

Funniest thing at the fight, no doubt for me, was that little blond kid running around.
Anyone see him? He was about 10, but his face looked like a 45 year old's!
He was sinking the cokes all night, ready to rob yer pockets.

Garcia gave Sipos a clinic compared to the trouble Lee had with him 14 months ago. He's a good guy, he reckons he prefers kickboxing to boxing, and Garcia at about quarter pace just played with him.

I reckon Lee will get his shot at Barker in a few months and it probably will be in ireland because hennessy is struggling to get tv dates for his stable in england while lee has the full backing of rte over here. As the old boxing adage goes, the fight will go where it makes more money. If Lee-Barker happens in england it would realistically be main event on friday fight night with a 1,000 fans at a push. In ireland it would be main event on a primetime rte slot on saturday night and peters could easily i think fill a 5-7,000 seater venue. Its a no brainer really.

imo the only way barker will come here 2 defend as lee is if lee is mandatory.... and peters wins the purse... other than that he will have 2 travel 2 britain.. its 2 risky 4 barker 2 risk his belt here in a voluntary :good
