    ...Mayweather-De La Hoya, or Mayweather-Mosley?

In the De La Hoya fight, Floyd spent the majority of the fight backing up, and resorting to counter punching due to Oscar's aggression...

...in the Mosley fight, he was coming forward the whole time, bringing the fight to Shane.

(Personally, I think De La Hoya would have won had he not gassed out; forcing PBF to be to concerned with defense to maintain enough offense to win rounds. He would have won on sheer aggression alone...Pacquiao won't gas out).

PBF really impressed me in the Mosley fight with his come-forward approach, but I just can't see him trying that against Pacquiao, but I didn't think he'd do it against Mosley either, so you never know...

I forgot to add...I'm not talking about the result. Everyone knows PBF won both fights, when I say "more likely", I don't mean the outcome...I mean the course of action throughout the fight.

    ...thoughts?

little bit of both...I think it will be competitive the whole fight (De La Hoya fight, somewhat), and Mayweather will get hurt (Mosley fight, but FMJ will get hurt more frequently)

Mayweather Corrales is what I think. Pac will come forward with a lot of heart and balls and get his head handed to him on a silver platter. He could get lucky and land a haymaker but I doubt it.

Sort of like the Oscar fight. Alot of pressure that won't work and will be countered alot through the night.

Nobody knows, probably not even Mayweather. He can do both, and I think Freddy Roach will be pulling his hair out trying to prepare for both. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if Mayweather boxes off the backfoot for a while then goes on the offensive.

Do you seriously think that? I don't think even Floyd himself, or anybody in his camp believes he could handle Pacquiao as easily as he handled Gatti!

    :rasta enjoy!

But the pressure worked for Oscar! Oscar wasn't getting countered until he gassed out!

It worked because he used his height too. Pac is 5'6 he has to reach a whole lot farther and thats when Mayweather counters.

I didn't see Mayweather backing up all that much against Oscar. It's funny how so many opponents have success early in the fight against Mayweather only to get shut down late.

What I do know is against southpaws Floyd doesn't do his leaping left hooks, and he does a right hand lead to the body instead of his trademark jab there. It's about the angles.

I expect Floyd to walk him down behind the cover of his jab and use that right hand counter to cover his flanks. There may even be some inside fighting depending on how easy it is to get manny pac in that distance. This takes advantage of emmanuel's inability to box off the back foot and his freddie roach pupil syndrome of having no inside game.

Good Points! I actually see the fight maybe going both ways. Pacquiao coming out early and aggresive with Floyd Mayweather using a lot defense and countering (May vs De la hoya). Then i also see the fight take a turn when Floyd adjust to Pac's speed and power and start to walk Manny down and use his size, (maybe strength), and stamina to his advantage to take control of the fight. I think its going to be one helluva fight and anybody could win.
