Golden gloves amateur fight between Luis Collazo and Yuri Foreman.

What does this say about Cotto's chances. I say it bodes well.

Collazo is smaller but faster and pretty much dominates Foreman.

I think Yuri has never shared the ring w/ a world class fighter like cotto. I think cotto will easily handle yuri.

Second that, good find man. What ever happened to Collazo? The last time I saw him fight was against Berto.

Collazzo wuz robbed against Berto and Hatton too. Boxing is a tough business if you aren't marketable.

Good find. A couple of thoughts here. This really is the first footage I've seen of Forman so if someone could corroberate what I say that would help. Forman can't possibly be this sloppy these days (he's 18 in this video) Still even for a top amatuer he is sloppy as ****. The big thing I see in this video is that he can't get his jab working against Collazo and he's moving the wrong way against the south paw. Collazo has good head movement, Cotto doesn't, I'm assuming Forman's Jab is more disciplined these days in which case the fact that Cotto is a righty, doesn't have the head movement to slip a jab and a significantly lack reach doesn't bode well for him....no matter what this video shows.

There are two seriously concerning things that **** video shows. Some of you have hit on the point that Forman has never fought a world class fighter. The biggest thing this video shows is that forman at this point in his career was no were near being on his way to being a world class fighter. Regardless of whether he`s tightened up his jab or not, having a world class jab and knowing when to throw it are two different things. Forman doesn`t look like he can do the later against a world class amatuer here. Cotto definitely knows when to throw his shots. The second thing should be noted is that Forman get hit soo cleanly once Collazo gets inside it again looks like he has no idea what he`s doing. Another problem agaisnt a guy like Cotto.

Thoughts? What did you guys see?

Had I been judging the bout, I would have scored it for Collazo. To say that he dominated Foreman is a bit of stretch, however.
