Let's talk about Bute a little bit

I would like him to assert his jabs more, unleash crisper ones will a little added snap to them. He mainly uses them just to feel out his distance, keep the fighters to slightly hold back from coming in and also prepare his other punches.

But yes the right hook would help. Anyways, as long as he attacks the body every fight he's in, he should be ok, cause he's always had a wicked left to the body.

 

The right hook is how Bute hurt Berrio right before he ended up in the corner and nearly got his head ripped off his neck.

 

So far so good with him. He is one helluva a boxer and is going to hard to beat. If it aint broke dont fix it.

 

If he fought Ward it would look a lot like Ward/Kessler....Andre is the best super middle there is right now...i'd also take him over Hopkins and maybe even Bad Chad Dawson at light heavy

 

I love watching the guy fight. Too bad he has to occupy himself for two years before he can face the Super Six Champion. I read Pavlik is moving up. Maybe this can be made after Bute' mandatory. Would be interesting to see of Bute could TKO him.

 

bute v pavlik for now will be a great fight then i would like bute to fight the winner of the tournament

April: One of the 2 guys eliminated from the Super 6? (If Showtome allows them to fight on HBO)

I'm thinking Froch and Green might be the ones to get cut. If Froch and Dirrell both lose their next fight. Dirrell will be the one to get cut because Froch has a win over him. (I think that's how it works?)

I'd love to see a Bute-Froch fight.

 

Bute had prepared a right to the body for the Miranda fight but he didn't have time to use it. I saw him at the public training and once, only once, he let a huge right hand to the body (well, Larouche's pad). He has power in his right but needs to use it more.

 

I don't think it would look anything like Ward/Kessler as Bute doesn't fight at all like Kessler as far as I have noticed. :huh

 

With Loew in his corner and his last defeat, the odds are against Pavlik big time in this one.

 

Emmanuel Steward could make Pavlik a much better fighter. He'd make him boring as fug all but much better.

 

Bute got a much better footwork the Kessler it wouldn't be easy for Ward to headbutt Bute like he did to Kessler!

 

Didn't Bute drop Andrade with his right hook ? or was it the left ?:huh

 

Left to the head and left to the body.

Bute will have to use his right more when he faces Dirrell and Ward but I'm not worried. Larouche always prepare him in advance. He has started to work on it. In fact, Bute has more and more weapons. The guy still wants to learn and he has a coach who likes to teach him new things.
