His performance against Rogers was downright scary. Overeem is terrifyingly powerful but combines this power with considerable technique and athleticism. How would he fare against the following fighters at this point in time? Keep in mind that he only just turned 30 years old and is either peaking now or getting ready to peak in a couple of years.

    Overeem vs.

    1. Lesnar
    2. Dos Santos
    3. Velasquez
    4. Carwin
    5. Mir

I managed to catch the last Overeem fight and wow this guy is a monster. Would love to see him fight Lesner or Carwin.

Overeems already peaked. Forget his age. Dudes been in MMA for a minute and has some serious mileage. Im more impressed as to "how" he's revitalised his career since moving up to heavy despite having career injuries. Dudes a stud. And he'd smash all those guys. The only one that would give him some problems is Santos.

50-50 fights that would be based on who could cause the devastation first. I think he'd beat Mir though.

I think Overeem would mix well with all of those heavyweights - but I think he's suddenly being overrated for his dominating performance over a part time MMA fighter. Guys like Carwin, Dos Santos, and Lesnar have the power to exchange or grapple with him. I wish he would fight in the UFC because he would be a great addition to the resurgent heavyweight division.

Rogers is no part time fighter, maybe 2 years ago but he is a full time professional now.

I see Dos Santos as the only one who'll give him problems, of course Carwin always has that punch and Lesnar if positioned right after a takedown always could GnP for a ref stoppage much the same as Overeem did to Rogers, nothing deadly just a barriage of punches.

He could win any of those fights. The easiest being Carwin, who he would ****ing destroy.

MMA Heavyweight division is packing itself out with in shape, skilled athletes. The compelte opposite of boxing which has 3 greek looking bodies who gas and are sloppy as ****.

rogers is also a guy whos best performance ended with him being layed out, overeem is a freak but the guy has one "relevent" win in quite a few years and all of the sudden hes the man to beat? i think ever guy in the list here beats him, with maybe the exception of cain
