Yea some reason Mosley has such a little fanbase for a really nice humble guy. A fighter whose nice, humble, willing to fight anyone at any weight and not really interested in the money. Whats not to love.

Anyway, my take:


He might have to go to 50/50.

Dallas would be better for the casual fans but the high-rollers want Vegas. So do travelers I would say.

8oz gloves. End of story. Fighters can pick their brand. I'm sure Freddie would want Floyd to wear "Reyes" gloves like he made him do in the Oscar fight but this time around, Floyd holds the cards. He'll use Grant to protect his hands without taking to much power away (if it really does).

They should do the full drug testing since boxing needs to evolve finally. I don't know why people are fighting this. Seriously, you fight this and you don't care to have the best testing available for athletes that risk their lives. The only reason Nevada doesn't have it is because they can't afford to flip the bill for their fighters. But Rich Fighters surely can.
But, as a fan, I just want this fight to happen. Just trying to look at it from the "clean" athletes point of view.

Why would Floyd want a title? He didn't even take Shane Mosley's title which was the better title...the real title...considering Shane got his belt off of Margarito who got it off of Cotto.
WBO is a paper title Cotto collected when he got his stolen from Margarito. It means nothing.
Floyd is #1 now.

This demand by Floyd is being taken for granted now but I remember Pac saying that he will not agree for Floyd to go to the ring last next time that they will have a negotiation again. Add this to the demands of Floyd that will kill this fight.

Pacman does not deserv 50/50 if he is is lucky he may get either 45% or 48% much more than he will ever be able to get elsewhere as fight will probably generate 3 Million PPV buys.

 

Explain to me how Floyd is "NOT" making this "easy" when he nor his representatives have said ANYTHING about this yet? Correct me if I'm wrong, previously Floyd is the one who wanted to go through testing and it was the other guy that didn't right??

Why Dallas? The easy answer is they could get a bigger gate but to do that they're going to have to price the tickets more moderately than they normally would in Vegas.

I guarantee if that is the chosen venue that the officials will come from out of state.

As far as the 60-40 goes if I or any of you were representing Mayweather I would start at 60-40. You'd be a fool not to considering he can use past numbers to back up his claim.

Realistically, I would love to see 55-45 to the winner.

What I think will happen "IF" this fight happens this year (which I don't believe it will) is

Mayweather will conceed on fighting in Dallas but will want lead billing (Mayweather vs. Pacquiao instead of vice versa)

If i was pac man i would say 50/50 or even 45/55 for PBF and take the ****ing fight. Dallas would be great place to pack the house but vegas is where its at

 

Really? I see it as a pretty good starting position from Floyd. Did you expect him to come to the table with 50/50 and no drug testing?

The purse split will probably get down to 55/45 or something like 52/48 and Roach has already confirmed that they are willing to compromise on drug testing. They should be able to compromise on the other items, like Pacquiao's name being first for the fight promotion with Mayweather coming to the ring last, or vice versa.

 

TBH I see nothing wrong with these points. I am a fan of both men but I think Pac Kinda lost his edge at the table at this point. With SSM taking the OSBT and several others agreeing as well. Plus, PBF PPV#s are much more stronger. Arum screwed Pac because of his hatred of Money and they miscalculated what would happen if the first contract collapsed.

in the end I see Money getting a bigger split not 60-40 but rather 55-45 or 51-49.
