Apparently Adamek's manager Ziggy Rozalski recently called Holyfield's manger Ken Sanders to see if they were interested in a fight at the Prudential Center in New Jersey. Looks like it might just be a matter of money.

    Stay tuned...

Adamek's people were always looking for these fights with old stars. Years ago the name that would come up most often was Jones Jr (after his most humiliating losses).

Holyfield is a stupid idea and a step back but that name will sure be tempting for Team Adamek.

It's a payday for both of them but Adamek will likely KO Holyfield. I wonder if HBO would show this?

Like most people, I don't want to see this fight, and mainly because I can't stand the thought of Evander picking up another loss to a man, who he'd otherwise beat the **** out of if he were anywhere near his prime.... The positive for both men, is that there might be some money to be made.. Adamek is a rising contender, while Holyfield at least has a name and is coming off a win... Who knows.

Holyfield's legacy is like adding water to wine if he continues to fight and lose...

Agreed, frankly if for no other reason, I'd like to see him retire just for that.. I mean losing to Sultan Ibragimov, Nikolay Valeuv, Chris Byrd, James Toney, Larry Donald and John Ruiz is no damn good for any all time great, and he would have beaten any of those guys 15+ years ago..

This fight is a waste of time for adamek he has bigger names out there than an ancient Evander. I don't like this fight.

Holyfield should just retire, he had a good career, legacy sealed, why does he need to keep fighting?

As much as I like Holyfield, I have to say that its his own fault... I mean how the **** do these guys burn through $250 million like that???? I can't even think of enough ways to spend that much money.. Of course, in Evander's case, he's had multiple marriages with multiple children, and with each divorce comes a big club over the head for allomony, child support, etc.... But still....
