As I said, you would have to conclude that he does not want the fight then.

    Last two fights:

Mayweather - 2.45MM PPV buys and 18MM live gate

Pacquiao - 1.95MM PPV buys and 16MM live gate

Mayweather's last fight was bigger than any fight Pacquiao has been apart of.

This all while Pacquiao is at the peak of his popularity.

Pac should do cartwheels if he is able to get a 50/50 split.

So was Pacquiao to be fair, the fact is Mayweather is a bigger draw active now whichever way you want to dress it up.

if this is true, then floyd will be using the split this time to make the fight harder to happen other than his other demands.

Nice rebuttal. Now please read my post again and explain how you can justify Pacquiao wanting 50/50 split and possibly refusing to fight over it.

    Thanks

anything other than 50-50 is just trying to duck the other. we don't need to complicate the negotiations anymore other than the OSDT demand already in deadlock.

Well when you've got Pacuaio's coach saying the reason they ducked Mosley was because they could make twice as much money fighting Cotto, only to see Mayweather bringing in more money against the lesser attraction then it's not hard to see why he would think he deserves more money now.

No, it's not. Read my post where I broke it down and then make an argument against it.

Mayweather deserves a higher share of the purse. I was generous to Pac by only listing their last 2 fights. If I go back further, it becomes even more one-sided.

I don't really care what agreement they come to but you can't say that Mayweather is ducking Pac by wanting a little more.

i know you floyd fans would defend floyds 60-40 demand but it will be seen as a ducking if he will demand more. last time around, pac agreed to 50-50 even if pac-cotto earned more than floyd-jmm. you guys are defending every floyd *****-ass demands in the book.

no 50-50 is fair. pac got 1.25M PPV and 0.7M PPV against cotto and clottey with minimal promotions by top rank. floyd got 1.05MPPV and 1.4M (is this confirmed?) with jmm and mosley who are both bigger stars in th US compared to cotto and clottey with huge promotions from GBP. anything more than 50-50 is a blatant ducking tactic by anyone who will demand it.

DLH did 2.4 million WITH Mayweather.

Did DLH even sniff 2 million in any other fight in his career?

    No. Not even close.

Cotto V Pac had a big promotion with a lot of hype around it. I would say there was more hype around people wanting to see that fight than the mayweather v mosley fight.

Why are you people saying money is such a big deal for Pac now. When he turned down $40 milliion over a drug test money didnt matter to him...
