Exactly. Whereas if he fights a feather fist he can keep his distance and if he gets clipped it doen't matter.

Dunno about you but I'd prefer fighters to be in competitive matchups rather than have everything handed to 'em on a plate.

Theres plenty of tough, competitive fights at 140 for Khan, the first one in America was Paulie for a lot of very good reasons (and not just Paulies KO percentage!!)

Also his shorter reach, his reliance on a slower jab than Khan and his lacking head movement

    Loads of very good reasons

He should have fought an obscure fighter like Maidana, that would have generated interest in his US debut.

So who's this guy in the LWW or LW division with a longer reach than Khan, with a quicker jab than Khan, and more head movement?

Cos Paulie is a tall LWW, he's got the quickest jab in the division after Khan, and he showed plenty of head movemtn in the first 4-5 rounds of the fight, till he started getting pounded the fck out.

Murray is all the things you mentioned, but at a very domestic level, and i think we saw this weekend what hap[pens when you step up from a domestic level with Mitchell. And consdering what Romanov, Mezaache and Glover did to the Thaxton that was supposed to fight Khan, thank god he refused the fight on monetory grounds.

Amir's dad is delusional, if you have ever heard him speak in interviews....

    Don't pay attention to him...

I think Khan gets too much stick.

He does lots of things for kids over here with gyms and what not plus other charity work.

I think he's a good kid at heart but he does say some stupid things, but ain't we all.

The journo's know that he is prone to the odd stupid remark so they question him on the most bizarre things.

Don't forget this is the guy that as a 17 year old kid was having to speak out against the london terrorists because he is a Muslim. 17 FFS it's riddiculous!!!

Thaxton did turn down a career high purse.

You are obviously chin obsessed...if Maidana caught anyone flush at 140 they are going to go, Khans punch resistance is a completely moot point in this match-up. And who the **** mentioned Urango??

    Why...

Seems a stupid decision on the face of it.

He's a Hennesey fighter, it makes perfect sense, he wanted 50/50, like Witter wanted on Hattons homecoming. Like Froch's big world title fight being on some bull**** webstream rather than on ITV. It all makes perfect sense when you have a painful addiction to cupcakes.

Amir kills both but I wanted to see the fights happen. He was much rawer earlier on.
