I am sick of boxers calling Amir Khan out and then doing a runner when the possibility of fighting him comes close.

I agree with all that, but at the end of the day it should have no impact on how we feel about him as a fighter. The truth of the matter is that at all points Amir Khans record absolutely pisses all over John Murrays.

I've never hided the fact the reason I don't root for Khan is down to his poor punch resistance:good

Maidana's a warrior, he would have rolled into the ring strapped to a stretcher, its nothing new to him, he ends up horizontal in most his fights anyway.

baybe Maidana is the one ducking Khan, he had the perfect opportunity to fight Khan being the interim champ and all, but instead he took the money, he had the opportunity to fight Bradley, yet he mysteriously got injured, while at the same time not providing any proof to Bradleys promoters!

    My god he's a ducker!:admin

Isn't that sort of the point? Paulie is relatively tall for a LWW, he's fast and has a quick jab, thats his big weapon. It's his only weapon really.

Khan is better at the all things he is good at. So Paulie never had a chance. Plus he had no power, so there was no risk.

Khan isn't really going to face anybody bigger than him in this division. But other fighters will have other styles that will be more difficult to deal with.

Other fighters wont be trying to jab him or fight his style of fight, they'll be working to get inside or have sting in their punches.

Nah it's not mate. Some people like pressure fighters, some like silky smooth boxers.

I just like my fighters to be able to take a dig back:good

Well he wasn't. One of the top 5 JMW's of all time. Would he beat Hearns/McCallum? No, not IMO.

And I don't consider myself a scholar; there are far more educated posters than me on here:good

I'm guessing you had pictures of Bert Cooper and Ray Mercer on your bedroom wall back in the late 80's early 90's?
