Seeing that Haye eventually blew Mormeck outof the water, would this not bode well for him against klit, if in your opinion a mormeck level opponent would not bother klit. Or do you see haye as a mormeck level boxer?? I am not one of these guys that subscribes to the a beats b so he beats c. I am all about styles involved in each individual clash
I think Lewis was such a good all rounder that no one is a stylistic nightmare for him. Haye is a very good fighter but unless his chin is absolutely top notch then at some point Lewis would swot him like a fly
Getting Haye in the ring with a prime Lennox Lewis would be impossible. Haye would never take that fight.
twas nothing more than a hypothetical question. It seems the general conscensus is that Haye would not live with Lennox even in his prime. I think this illustrates the dire state the heaveyweight scene is in worldwide. The Klits are without doubt the dominant force currently. But where are the up and comers, and don't feed me with fury, blah blah blah
Lewis would decimate Wlad. As good a jab, harder puncher, not scared. Better chin. Better defence (if you go via opponents faced) Lewis KO 2 Wlad; if Lewis felt an opponent was dangerous he'd take 'em out
Not saying that lewis wouldn't beat wlad, but thought he might have been a bit less of a walkover for lewis in their primes
It's hard to imagine Wlad not being KOed in a couple of rounds. I can't even imagine him making it all the way to the ring if he had to fight Lewis. He always fights scared.
I mean don't get me wrong, i have seen a lot of lewis, and haye and wlad. I just didn't know if haye's best attribute, his speed would carry him through against an opponent like lewis. But to be honest, as well as haye stopped ruiz, his speed did seem to be lacking. I was there at the MEN, and just thought he seemed to gas about 2 minutes into each round. I can see wlad keeping haye on the end of a jab, and making haye take more risks during their fight if it ever happens. But with lewis, i think he let opponents back him up a little easy, and get off their shots, which is the only reason i originally thought haye might have a punchers chance, as lewis would let him get close enough on a number of accasions to fire off on him
