But Mayweather always wins, people have grown to accept it. He'll of course get his props if he wins. But if Pac wins, many will say he's the G.O.A.T.
Fast forward to November: Pacquiao has benefited from steroids for the past 8 years. 2 months of being clean won't erase the unnatural strength and stamina he's managed to obtain through illegal means. Floyd is also clearly past his best. He looked like his legs were gone against Mosley and was getting caught with telegraphed overhand rights from a 38 year old. He couldn't even finish a 36 year old bloated featherweight in his previous fight. Pacquiao deserves no credit for this win, and had this fight happened while Floyd was still active and in his prime, he would've KOed Manny in < 6 rounds without taking a single punch.
Not now at the least, only because of the character he portrays. In the distant future there would be much more acclaim.
