Here's the thing though, no one has beaten Mayweather. We don't know how exactly people would react. You would have to assume that Pacquiao would receive almost universal acclaim. The only guy saying that Floyd's legs are shot is Pacquiao's own trainer.
Im going to tell you this! Round 2 of the may vs mosley fight i saw a lot of people literally jumping in the air cheering( R.A. the rugged man was one of them). Then i saw most people with this stunned blank look on their faces( include me in this part) like they couldnt believe what they were seeing. It was a weird feeling i tell you.
70% of the people on here think Mayweather is going to win going away, 10% think he'll win a tough fight, and 20% think Pacquiao will win... ...so in other words, a lot of people will be eating crow.
I can't WAIT to see what people in here say if Pacquiao beats Mayweather decisively...he'll be considered a top 15 or so ATG, I'm sure, even by the naysayers.
No I won't...I'll give Mayweather his props if he wins...no excuses at all. I expect you to do the same vice versa when Pacquiao wins.
Pacquiao is not going to win(if he even agrees to fight Mayweather). But let's say he does, he'll get major props. Look at all the praise he got for beating Cotto. Mayweather is a much tougher matchup than Cotto.
I believe this with around 80% confidence, but the other 20% tells me some people out there are gonna pull out something like "damaged goods" after he ate shane's power shot, or now floyd's old or something.
There will be less than a handful of people that would say this, and they would ruin their credibility by saying so. It really doesn't matter, because Mayweather will win.
