You sure it would be worse than keeping Max?

:nod Damn right... but HBO is obviously making the same mistake here that they did with Lennox Lewis. they'e looking for star power instead of a quality, experienced commentator. These morons will never learn. :verysad

If you'e going to pick from Saturday nght's leftovers you're better off going with Nate Campbell. He's done some analyst work for ESPN2 and always came off very knowledgeable and articulate. I seriously think Nate has a future in broadcasting if he wants it.

Would love for someone like Mike Tyson to do it.

A wildcard, why not someone like Shannon Briggs? He's pretty charismatic and has lots to say about all different types of fighters.

They need a live stream from Ike Ibeabuchi in prison. His analysis and discussion of the virtues of psycho-pugilism would be a refreshing diversion.

Maybe Nazim can do the job without getting the job.

I may be in the minority here, but I really liked Lennox Lewis and thought he was doing a fine job. Yes, he messed up on some names, but so does Emanuel Steward. I personally think that HBO did him dirty.

The place that hypes fights says PBF is also in the mix. I think it'd be universally agreed that the Money persona in the booth would be a extinction level event disaster. But Floyd Mayweather, the guy who loves the sport and is master student of the game would be a big plus over Lennox, stuttering be damned.

That being said, RJJ was the best of my era IMO (late-80s to now), though he was a tad mushmouthed/country, he knew exactly what was going on in the ring.

Lewis is a class act and I wish him the best. With that said they need to bring back RJJ ASAP his level of insight was without peer.
