:-( The testing IS UNNANOUNCED! That's not what he stated Big. USADA's measures are ALL unnanounced. They can make up the test if they miss but not before they are reported and it goes against them.

All athletes under the testing of USADA or WADA is subjected to random testing 24/7. If you miss one test you are able to make it up but there is reasons for that going against you....it's stipulated that all athletes must update their schedules for the "testers"...so that they can drop in on them at any time for RANDOM testing.

Conte clearly states that the "GOLD STANDARD" of testing has loopholes that can easily be exposed...not b/c the testing ISN'T RANDOM. It clearly is. You misinterpreted what you read. Conte was saying that MLB or NBA or NFL measures are not random which was a problem. He stated USADA's measures are certainly better than what they do in professional sports.

For Floyd to request testing at all seems a bit "far fetched". It's just odd to me that he chose the most inopportune time to request these kinds of tests for Manny given the nature of the fight itself....and the fact that is basically contradicts everything Floyd has stated regarding PAC being an EASY opponent.

1. How many fighters have moved up through several weight classes while destroying and physically dominating much bigger opponents?

2. How many fighters have moved through several weight classes and not lost any speed and even gained power?

3. How many fighters got better after moving up several weight classes after the age of 30?

4. Name some fighters that have moved up and bullied much bigger fighters?

5. Who makes up obviously false excuses to get out of taking tests that would help improve the safety of fighters?

After attempting and failing to legitimately answer these questions, no one could honestly say asking for better testing is far fetched at all in this situation. Apparently like half of the people in boxing, it means that Mayweather believes that Manny might be on illegal substances. Olympic style testing is the best in sports right now and even if it has holes it's still much better than what is currently in boxing.

Agreed with what's bolded....:smoke But the truth of the matter is that Manny's not the first nor the last to have success moving up in weight and doing well. He's one of the few who have been extremely successful that are reserved for the ALL TIME GREATS.

Duran, Leonard, Armstrong, Robinson, manny...Hell, even Floyd jr! They've all moved up beyond their natrual weights and have dominated... Just in different ways given their different styles and different natural gifts.

There's not many fighters in boxing like manny who have gotten better, this quickly but most fail to notice that the areas where he's getting better are areas where he's shown in the past that he LACKED. He was one demenision...a brawler with unpolished and limited skills.

Fast forward to the present and we see a completely differnt and evolved figther. His balance, technique, skill, ring generalship and craft are all 10 times better than what he showed before linking up with Roach.

He's a speacial fighter who got extremely lucky to have found his perfect partner with regards to his career in Roach. He's enabled PAC to get the very most out of his natural gifts and talent this late in his career due to the fact that Manny was so raw and limited before. Manny has always had the ability, talent and god given gifts to reach this level.....he jus didn't have the resources in the Philipines to harnest those elements.
