Many die-hard fans have an issue with Khan's path to his particular crown. When he started out he was on terrestrial tv headlining events as a pro novice. His Olympic profile allowed this. Where the resentment built was seeing Khan boxing like a novice but being sold as a superstar. This built further when a pattern of opponents emerged: Typically he was fed bums usually a couple of divisions lighter than himself. Once Khan started being wobbled by these physically challenged individuals the alarm bells really started ringing...then Khan was put in the ring with someone his own size and reach and...well the rest is history! Now Khan's handler's have ridden his major drawing power off the back of his Olympic achievement. And that means he must be carefully steered toward the status 'prematurely' bestowed upon him by the Olympics. In effect? The focus is on about maximising on Khan's major draw potential nothing else. That said, they will try and keep his fights as 'acceptably challenging' as they can without 'immediately' cooking the golden goose (i.e. by not putting him in with any of the top three anytime soon!) So, look out for more Khan camp posturing over certain fights, delays, pull outs and lower weight challengers coming up to fight Khan.

I will add that I never allow bias to get in the way of my stylistic analysis
