As much as EVERYONE wants these two to get it on, I have to sound a cautionary note...this fight could go NEITHER way.

I mean, just how stupid will the fans feel for screaming for either guy, for YEARS, thousands of websites hosting tens of millions of guys arguing and screaming their guy is gonna win, then Floyd and Pac go at it for 12 rounds and damn near every last pundit scores it six a piece? If both guys turn out to be so ****-scared of the other, the "fight" turns into a chess-match? If Compubox gives a Floyd a whisker-thin edge in both punches and jabs landed, yet the tape shows Manny being the pursuer, but for an equally thin majority of the time?

Hope nobody will say I'm jinxing this, but truth is, I have a bad, bad feeling this is going to end with NO loser except the MILLIONS of poor slobs who PPV'ed.

I would think it was pretty hilarious, unless somebody deserved a clear win and got jobbed in a draw decision. It would shut both groups of extreme fans up. Well, it wouldn't, but it would teach them a lesson. Well, no it wouldn't but I would still think it was hilarious anyway.

Pac could never fight a chess match with Floyd

With the "Styles" both bring into the fight...
I would say that outcome would be almost impossible.
    (Unless it's controversial)

If it was a deserving draw and no one got robbed then i wouldn't mind. They could just have a rematch.

When you get two guys of close talent sometimes just one battle does not suffice to really see who is the best. Let them square of together multiple times to see who handles the pressure, who learns the most and who comes back the best from adversity to really see who is the best.

yeah the styles would make that hard to happen.

If it did I would be disappointed. They wouldnt though. they get to do it all over again for even more money

You know it makes you wonder, the DLH-PBF fight was very close, were they aiming for a draw?

they were working on a rematch before it fell through

I always wondered what's so bad about a draw? Does there really have to be a winner? I always found it better than a split decision with one guy getting it by one point or something, wich leaves the other one with nothing while there definately is debate who actually was the better one. So It's not decided anyway.
If they're even they're even... Just like the guys who say you have to give the round to somebody, why? Not fair is it, because you already know that judge will give it to the fighter a) he loves, b) is the home favorite, or c) both a and b.

A rematch in such a case is nice, only with this one there's probably never going to be one.

if there was an ebb and tide from both sides a draw isn't bad.

I wouldnt, as long as the fight happens I'll be glad no matter what the outcome, unless its a pwill vs cintron type ending.

    exactly...

And as good as this fight would be for the sport, the rematch would be even better.
