    Simple question.

If not, who will he lose his 0 to before he hang 'em up? Will it be Pac-Man or a fight down the road?

I personally think, Floyd will lose his 0 before retiring for good. To who, I don't know just yet , I feel like it will be a un-natural (for Floyd) catchweight fight , or a bigger weight class where he'll finally lose a close decision to that divison's top guy. (lmw, or mw)

But if he does ride out in the sunset with his 0, I wouldn't be that surprised honestly.

If statistics prove anything, I'd say No.
Depends how long he continues fighting?

If he decides to hang them up in 2011, I'd say YES.
(I don't see any fighter in/around his WT class that can beat him)

If he hangs around past that, Then I'd say No.

he is too cautious but he is also good and sane enough to figure out when he needs to retire

as much as I don't like him I would not mind for him to keep his zero as long as he is fighting a few more opponents ... the one which are demanded by fans like PAC or Willimas

Haha I'm being a hypocrite, but I pretty much agree with you on this one.

But for some reason, I feel he will venture north once more and accidentally bite of more than he can chew.

You know, maybe I don't ****in know if he's gonna lose his 0...:patsch

depends on floyd, i think he should have learnt his lesson about throwing his money away and will make sure he has no financial problems in the future so i dont think he'll have more than 3-4 more fights max.

It also depends on whether he fights people like Pacquaio/Williams/Martinez etc and how well he stands up to them. I think if he has these 3 fights and fights a smart game he has a good chance but i also think these three are capable of beating him if they get there game plan right and make floyd fight the way they want to fight

In all honesty, I don't think Mayweather needs to necessarily ever leave 147lbs.
    (For fight's like Williams/Martinez ect...)

He already beat Mosley & realistically the only REAL thing left is Pacquaio.
(Then Floyd can go out and enjoy his earnings: UNDEFEATED)

I heard Roy Jones say it himself, that he never would hang around too long... Look at him now, he' has become a parody on over the hill boxers who can't call it a day. So even if Floyd now feels he should quit while still ahead, things can change.

On the other hand, Floyd did retire undefeated before. So maybe he'll be the first guy who retires undefeated twice

he is money first, he is rather going to venue south than north if the
same money are involved ... I think PW will never speak money enough,
Martinez will be beaten soon as he is fighting north already so after PAC
Floyd will definitely look after the best at 140lb (Khan or someone like that)

Depends on whether he fights Pac or not.

Also if he goes broke again and comes back after he should be done.

I deff agree, that he will go south before north, IF the money is right.

I just have a funny feeling, somehow the money will be good enough for him to go north again, because he will also want to shut up his naysayers, even though he says he doesn't care, I think PBF does care what people think, just a little.

But yea, the lww A listers are starting to become more popular by the month, so I don't doubt one will eventually get enough name power, to get Floyd's attention.

Just remember this, Mayweather don't need those fighters.
I think when Floyd say's "He don't care what the fans want....ect"

He means let the fighters build themself up to deserve a fight w/Mayweather.
Don't expect him to chase down fighter's anymore, Those days are gone. he don't need to any more.

I think it depends on how far he wants to push himself up through the weight divisions.
