They are all missing the TS's point to begin with. People want Mayweather to fight Paul and Sergio cause they think he may lose plain and simple. Then people want Manny to fight Margarito/ Cotto because they know Manny has a very slim chance at losing. One guy he beat the brakes off of already and the other guy got the brakes beat off of him by the OLD,SHOT,FADED, and Past his Prime Mosley. Double Standard is the correct word for this.
How many times have you watched Pac vs Clottey again? 0 is probably the answer. Nobody is trying to re-watch the Pac vs Clottey fight. I am sure its more people on here that's watched the Mosley vs Mayweather fight again since that night, including you.
So has Floyd fought a Welterweight ( In a title fight ) and made the Champion come down to 145lbs ? I can not think of any logical reason for this happening in the Pacman vs Cotto fight ? Unless they wanted Cotto to be weight drained ? I can not believe belts are allowed to be on the line when the fight is not at the proper weight ? R there not enough different weight classes ?
Always has the advantages? Really. he moved up through 5 weight classes, and yet somehow he always had the the advantages. Thats a very stupid comment. The only advantages that Mayweather has had is that he is a more skilled and talented fighter than his opponents. And as for him living in Las Vegas. Las Vegas has always hosted most of the big fight, b4 mayweather, and will continue to do so after Mayweather. Floyd is from Michigan, not Las Vegas. If other fighters want to, they can buy a house in Las Vegas too.
Of course it's a valid excuse, he agreed to fight Judah as he was the lineal champ and had the WBC and IBF belts, Judah lost his tune up to Baldomir so they rewrote the contracts to push the fight through. Funny thing is Mayweather got a lot of grief for fighting Zab instead of Baldomir, yet after he beat Baldo he got a lot of grief for fighting him too even though it was a filler fight well he waited for De La Hoya.

There was a thread on here after the PPV numbers were released where they were trying to claim Molsey was as big of a PPV attraction as Cotto.
He got grief for fighting Judah because Judah did not deserve to make a big pay check after lossing to a bum... And nobody gave him **** for fighting Baldimor they gave him **** due to the way he chose to fight Baldimor.... Big difference...
I don't think Pac get's a pass especially since nothing is final yet. Crying about something that isn't even a sure thing seems a bit silly IMO. But go ahead I guess. If violent fan reactions before the fact somehow help Pac-Floyd get made, by all means, keep crying about it. (for the record though, a fight with Margo or Foreman would be a joke in my eyes and would gladly criticize Pac if indeed it does happen)
NO! he got grief for fighting a saftey first style of fight against a guy who had 60 plus fights and only 13 Kayos.... He did not step inside and take one risk to get Baldimor out of there... Floyd had every single advantage in the fight and basicly fought as safe as he could have against a guy who cant punch his way through a wet paper bag Injured hand my ass... Floyd uses needles in them hands his hands were not hurt... and there have been no medical reports to support that neither its just an excuse for Floyd and his fans to use to explain why he fought like a *****. when ever a pro golfer leaves your fight mid way through the fight, Obviously something is very very wrong.
People still give him grief for fighting Baldomir, nothing to do with the style he used in beating him either. They see it as Floyd fighting a bum (he was) even though he was getting grief originally for not fighting him.
He had a chance to fight Mosley before then. You just said yourself that it wasnt any money in fighting Mosley which implies they turned him down.atsch
