This is a bit random but look at around the 5.35 mark on this. It seems like the HBO geezer is telling pac to go in the corner and pray. If this is the case, then why the **** is he doing that? [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8Y-Fk4ZsDI&feature=related[/ame]
Yeah. About time someone pointed that out. I didn't understand that either. Maybe it's his 'trademark' thing? I don't know but it's weird if you ask me.
I don't mean about the praying, I mean how the bloke tells him to go and pac looks at him as if to say "****, I forgot", but yeah praying is gay.
You're right. It is a big random, but it's still pretty strange. You can't tell from that footage who it is that prods him, though. It's just a disembodied hand; then the HBO cameraman comes into shot from the same side but it could easily not be him.
I know yeah, I thought that when I saw it but it looks like someone is telling him to pray and surely he doesn't need someone telling him unless it is for the camera's.
It's been cutomary in HBO fights that involve Pacquiao. They always like to get a shot of him praying in the corner after he wins. It's very dramatic, and makes good TV
Buboy picked Pacquiao up before he could go kneel in the corner...I'm not even sure he saw the guy pointing...Packinda glanced back quickly, but it didn't look like he glanced in the direction of the guy pointing...the pointer was probably prompting Pac to do something he was about to do anyway... ...but has anyone seen the other footage that followed the KO? Pacquiao casually strolled by Hatton as he laid on the canvas...it was a bit chilling. Pac probably should have shown more concern before he began celebrating.
I don't agree with the first part of your post -- it's pretty obvious that he did react to whoever prodded him. About the second part, though: In Pac's defense, after Bayless waved his arm to call the fight over, it looked to me more like Pac kind of wandered over as if he was genuinely concerned about Hatton and was starting to check to see if he was OK, but at that point everyone and their mother jumped in the ring and swamped him.
