People expect great things from Floyd. They always have. Pac, not so much. If you took the version of Floyd that fought in the lower weight classes, 130+, and he was able to fight those versions of MAB and Morales that Pac fought...I don't see either of them being favored over him. I don't see either of them beating him either. Being the underdog actually boosts your legacy and popularity. Even now, and I don't see Floyd being at his best...but no matter who he fights...even up to 160, he will probably be made the favorite. I don't think he should be the favorite going into a bout at 160 for example against Martinez...but he probably will.
If you believe the word on the street, I don't think anyone would be surprised if they heard Pac had run a train on Bradley or Alexander. I know his wife wouldn't...just saying. :smoke

It makes you look dumb to try and justify double standards. Floyd's the best fighter in the business and most people would agree, so how would he ever be the underdog? Pacquiao was the favorite in his fights with Hatton, Cotto, and Clottey. With the exception of De La Hoya, he hasn't been an underdog in any of his fights for at least the past 5 plus years. You're trying to give him a pass for fighting Margarito or Foreman? Why would you be cool with him beating up on Cotto again?

Only in pacland, when people realized that Floyd wasn't going to fold. Nearly everyone else, who actually watches boxing, belive the 3rd Round is one of Floyd's best and most defining of his career, considering the circumstances. And the 4th was one of his most dominant. You are furthering the case that pac fans don't know boxing. It's an unfair stereotyp, but you are doing nothing to disprove it.

In fairness, you said that everyone turned off the May/Mosley fight after round 2. Let's break it down: Round 1 was close but 2 of 3 judges scored it for Mayweather. Round 2 was Mosley's big round. As NBA stated, last 30 seconds of round 2 and then round 3 and 4 is when Mayweather took control of the fight and started to beat on Mosley. Rounds 8 - 10 were also great and at times looked like Mayweather was close to stopping him. Anyone who turned off the fight after round 2 is either a ******* or a Mayweather hater who doesn't enjoy good boxing.
Thats what happens when youre such a well liked and respected fighter. I can't speak for all top tier boxers out there though. $
Don't mislead everyone. Here's punch stats from both fights. Pac had more punches connected on Clottey's turtle-shell defense than Floyd who was punching a hands down Mosley.
