Were the Johnson/Tarver fights any good?

Just curious. I've never seen them before and no one else brings them up.

 

Yes, very good fights, particularly the first one. Highly slept on fight.

 

The first fight was great, and some even though Johnson nicked it. The 2nd one was a little more convincing, but decent.

 

Thanks. As a Jamaican(well I'm part lol) I respect Johnson deeply. As a RJJ fan, I'm still hurt about the second fight between the two. As a Dawson fan, well....y'all should get it from here lol.

 

Johnson has done us proud albeit when he lost a few times to some cans.

He truly has. He really deserves the "Warrior" part in his nickname "Road Warrior". Thanks 4 the feedback guys I hope to get & see these fights soon.

Never got to see the first one, did see the rematch and enjoyed that, quite surprised they didn't make it a trilogy.

 

1st one was pretty damn good

 

If I remember correctly, Johnson wanted a third fight but Tarver wasn't interested.

Those two guys were the most overrated fighters in recent history

 

the 1st fight was the best fight I've ever saw tarver in. He actually was letting his hands go in this strange fashion where he would tap glen with like four punches to lull glen asleep and create an opening and then just throw a bomb whenever glen tried to react. Best I've ever seen tarver.

 

Not fans of neither fighter,But yes they were both good fights

And Tarver was robbed in the first fight,He clearly beat Johnson in the first fight
