Pac/Cotto was after Pac/DLH as well. So why did he make Cotto drop to 145 when he fought DLH at the 147 limit? Pac fans want to act as if 2 pounds is no big deal but, if that's the case, why do it? Here's why...

Because when you lose MUSCLE, it shocks the system. Roach knew Cotto was used to making 147 so he wanted him to come down to 145 to lose MUSCLE. Fighters generally fight at the lowest weight they can safely make so asking them to come lower shocks the system. That's why DLH could not rehydrate properly when he came down to 147. Even if you rehydrate, it comes back on as water weight which makes a fighter sluggish.

Look what dropping muscle did to RJJ... you think he was never hit on the button like that before Tarver? But the massive weight loss in muscle wrecked his system, accelerated the dulling of his reflexes and destroyed his punch resistance. Once he moved up, he should have never come back down.

Same with Pac then. THe OP discredits him if he fights the much bigger Margo just because margo has been beaten by Mosley. :yep

Between you and Puga, i don't know who the biggest ******* is on ESB. You know even less about boxing than Bazooka.

Marquez is used to dropping weight to make 135. He had to drop LESS weight to make 144. So he was moving UP in weight which is healthier for the body. Do you think marquez walks around at 135? NO, he walks around 20 pounds HEAVIER. The goal of the trainer is to get the fighter to make weight in the healthiest way possible... to find the right balance between hydration, muscle and fat levels. As long a fighter keeps his weight on as MUSCLE, it will increase his power and punch resistance. However, if he comes in with FAT weight, he is slower and more sluggish.

You can look at the weigh-ins for Hatton/Mayweather and JMM/Mayweather to see that both fighters came in with very little fat. So both should have been much stronger.

Okay its put up or shut up time, provide the forum here with some sort of credentials you have.... this is the internet of course your a expert/trainer with a wealth of experience:roll:
Seriously your a ****ing newbie who seems to want attention and your way about getting that is by simply suggesting that your all knowing, you dont know jack yourself...
I am not a pac hugger, fan of the sport, didnt really care to much for Floyd until he fought with some balls the last time out, but lets see how long he keeps that up for something tells me he will always go back to his saftey first style when it comes to fighting guys who might actually fight him back...
its all good make the fight let the fighters decide who is better, I already know if Floyd fights Manny, Floyd losses that 0 and thats not based on hate that just based on facts, Manny will make Floyd fight and Floyds style is just all wrong for Mannys especially if Floyd tries to take Manny to the ropes not a good idea :nono

When the fight takes place be here.... thats all I ask of all the *****s.:hi:

And I presume that the 20 pounds JMM was carrying while not fighting is pure muscle that is why he is cheating Mayweather? Because it is easy for JMM to lose that 20 pounds because he is used to it while Mayweather is not used to losing weight?

Even EZE would not agree to that and he knows how much in milligrams Mayweather weighs each fight, weigh-in and post weigh-in.

If manny doesnt get the floyd fight, his only suitable opponents would be williams and martinez....

For floyd.....Cotto(if he beats foreman, which I'm expecting miguel to look good in that fight), Martinez, or williams...

    Anything else would be uncivilized

Ok, since you are so bright, please answer this question...

Why did Pac fight Cotto at 145 instead of 147? It's only two pounds, right?

It can't be because Cotto is so much bigger than him because DLH is WAY bigger than Cotto and Pac fought him at 147.

Can't be because Manny can't make 147 because he's been rehydrating to 148-149 for years and walks around at that weight with little fat. And fighting at your natural weight is one of the safest and healthiest things a fighter can do.

It's not because Cotto is really that much stronger because Cotto puts on weight as fat between fights. Cotto hasn't had real KO power since moving up from 140.

Cotto is about an inch taller than Manny and didn't have much of a reach advantage.

So, if two pounds is no big deal, why ask for it?

Dude, what facts? You and none of your ******* friends ever provide any. Do a search on my threads... you'll see I provide PLENTY of reasons why I think Floyd would beat Pac.

As for credentials, this is the Internet dude. It's just as easy for you to provide proof that I'm wrong as it is for me to provide proof I'm right. So you're welcome to try.

Because when you are learning to swim , you don't jump to the deep waters immediately!

And......... You are still an idiot.

Trying to discredit the Cotto fight for not ahppening at 147 by using Hoya as the basis is the sign that you are an idiot.

BTW, I answered that question already 4 posts or something before. You are just so thick that no matter how someone points out how illogical you reasoning is, you will never get it!

    You don't need credentials!

Obviously, you are not very bright.

Second, you are a Floyd Groupie.

Third, you are as illogical as most of the NEWBIE *****S cropping up everyday in ESB.

Therefore, I conclude that you are just an alt, or really a newbie, but still an idiot one.

Welcome to the FLoydette's organization, the "I love Floyd Mayweather Forever Club."
