2. Alexander Povetkin
3. David Haye
4. Tomasz Adamek
5. Eddie Chambers

As you can see Povetkin is my top guy, I think he has established himself as the best fighter apart from the Klitschkos, his win over Chambers is arguably one of the best in the division as Chambers cleaned up the division en route to hsi title shot IMO.

Adamek IMO has had the same quality of work as Haye, Arreola and Estrada are very good wins for him IMO.

Chageav would be 6 mainly due to lack of current relevant wins.

I dont think Estrada is much of a win for either Povetkin or Adamek really, hes overweight and his resume is weak and he is still only 19 fights old.

Arreolla has proven he is not championship material

Chambers has never really impressed me, reminds me of a Darnell Nicholson type fighter. Barring the Dimitrenko and Wlad fights was always overweight, had good handspeed but nothing more. A poormans Chris Byrd. Best wins are over Peter and Brock who both showed to be sub champion standard.

Wlad and to a lesser extent Vitali are head and shoulders above the rest (no pun intended) Haye gets number 3 by virtue he has a belt the rest are interchangeable.

Wlad is number 1 but not linear for me that still remains vacant

 

Well, you are right but IMO it´s excusable when one and two are brothers.

I agree however I personally withhold giving linear status unless one unifies all the belts since Lewis retired with linear status and they justifiably wont fight each other.

In any other era the same would hold true if 1 and 2 didnt fight within a few bouts.

 

Well Wlad unified IBF and WBO and should have the WBA too, since Chagaev was the rightful owner of the belt. So he unified three of the four major belts. Wlad also beat not long before he beat Maskaev for the WBC belt.
IMO he is as linear as it gets. He cleaned out the division aside of his brother, which is excusable, Haye who ducked him already once and it seems will do so agains, and Povetkin, who also backed already out of a fight once.

 

I disagree, Meehan just came off a clean KO over TOS and he is a big boy who can punch and deserves a chance. Its not an easy fight

 

good ratings, I put Adamak higher because of his win over Areola, which I think is a better win than Ruiz, however I rate Haye high also because of his back ground and win over Valuev. I drop Chambers because of his last loss to Vlad and a previous loss to Povetkin but would still keep him at 6 or 7 because of his win over Peter. I am not really keen on Solis because of his weight but there is little to chose from. Botstov is close but need a win over a Peter or Chambers or THompson

 

Vitali coming back was the worst possible thing for Wlad. Wlad is the better fighter but still many will argue that Vitali beats him. Had Vit stayed retired Wlad could have established himself as without doubt the number 1 of the era and Vit as a what might have been fighter instead we have confusion over just who the number one brother is

I think there is a difference between the linear title and the ring magazine title. The first one is higher regarded. Doesn´t make much of a difference here though - IMO.
