Steve Collins would beat his ass, it would be one helluva a fight though. No in all seriousness Froch would be competetive with his gritty hard punching style but Collins would also exploit his very average skills and Frochs power wouldnt be enough to bail him out here. Collins had a great chin although only average power. Collins by competetive but clear decision.

I agree Collins is too busy and too quick for Carls dangling left hand style.

Froch may well drop him but the celtic warrior would get back up and keep coming

    UD for Collins

Never saw much of Collins other then his first Chris Eubank fight and the first with an over the hill Benn... But it has to say enough, late tko or wide UD for Collins.

Neither man is stopping the other, I'll go for a Collins 8-4.

I agree Froch dont have that kind of power:nono It would take Bob Foster,Mccellan,Jackson like power to drop Collins.

I'm not sure if Collins just got ridiculously lucky in his timing (beat Benn and Eubank at just the right time) or if he was actually a good fighter who happened to also get ridiculously lucky in his timing. But he at least knew when to quit, and STAYED RETIRED. Smart man.

Christ the irish on here are more sensitive than the Klitshcko fans , I said Collins would win but oh no Steve was too good to ever be knocked over , feel pain , break sweat or so much as wince when hit with any punch form anybody

Jesus, the ****ing fanboys in this place !

Collins wasnt a big supermiddle ( and he did get lucky with the timing of his fights with benn and eubank ) and Froch can crack from weird angles but according to you lot its completey outwith the bounds of possobility that Collins might ( and I only said might ) have to get off the floor to beat him.

I'd favour Collins, not by much and I could see him getting dropped and hurt. He was badly hurt against Eubank so can the impervious to pain crap. Leaning in with the high octane style he adopted later in his career could take him right onto a Froch uppercut.
