Herbie Hide (WBC No.1) vs Enzo Macceranelli (WBC No.11) Also both ranked by the WBO. Have this for the European title in Cardiff in December if Enzo comes through his mandatory in September agaisnt Frenkel who is ranked 7th. Could easially be a final eliminator. Paul Smith (WBO No.3) vs Brian Magee (WBO No.13) Also both ranked by the WBC, this would be for the European and British titles and would sell well in Liverpool and Belfast. Ajose Oleguseon (WBC No.2) vs Paul McCloskey (WBC No.7) Commonwealth and European title fight which would double as a world title eliminator. Would sell well in Belfast. McCloskeys next fight is against Lauri who is ranked 13th by the WBC so his ranking will improve John Murray (WBO No.6) vs Kevin Mitchell (Former WBO Challanger) Mitchell will probably still be ranked in the top 15 by the WBO after his loss to Katsidis. A win in what is still a huge European and British domestic fight will put either back in contention.
Good thread. Ajose is the guy who most needs to step it up. Surely Frank will realise now Mitchell has been shown up that his fighters need to be prepared. Mind you, with 0% fanbase I see Ajose going nowhere.
you could go through 90% of fighters in any top 15 and they havent got a decent win. thats what happends when theres 4 belts. I like to see the alphabets as stepping stones for the lineal titles tbh.
