every champion has a right to fight a bum once in a while to rest your body show off and get paid... every fight cant be a war against top fighters because you wont last long.. but klitschkos opponents have all beem bums so he should fight a top fighter once in a while.. i dont think they will lose to anybody around now but at least give us the fans the chance to see him against the best around now

So should Vitali drop down to light heavyweight to make this fight? Are you sure taking on a shot light heavyweight who got KTFO in his last fight is a step up from Sosnowski?

I agree 100%, that and he's been blatantly ducking the top 5 heavyweights.

    Oleg Maskaev
    Michael Grant
    Ray Austin
    Audley Harrison
    Evander Holyfield

    Its a travesty!!!

    :rofl

There were negotiations for a rematch and WBC/IBF unification bout between Vitali and Chris Byrd's promoter Don King, but King demanded that he gets co-promotional rights for the winner. Don King declined Klitschko's suggestion that the winner takes home both belts without any options/rematch clauses on the winner.

That's why the rematch didn't happen.

Dummy, that's not the question. That never was the question. You're just too stupid to realise that. I never said that Vitali had a great resume. I said that he tried to make a good fight and when he couldn't he settled on a challenger who is clearly not up to snuff. By comparison, I offered several examples of great fighters that all took on less than stellar competition. Doesn't mean that Vitali is great. It means that others have done it in the past, far, far more frequently, and it hasn't hurt their reputations. Sure, they beat better fighters than him, but they were living in less complex times when making a fight took twenty minutes. Now, fighters take months negotiations everything from the live gate to TV right in Finland.

Name some fighters with a pulse, genius?

Didn't he try to fight David Haye? Yes.

Didn't he try to fight Valuev? Yes (though he's only got half a pulse and a chicken's heart).

Who else do you suggest? He'll be fighting Solis next, he's a mandatory. And he's a dangerous fighter.

Ok so how is something that one believes should have happened many years ago relevant to this discussion?

I could have whipped Mike Tyson's ass when he was 6. Should have made that fight. I should be heavyweight champ.

I don't know what your talking about, ESB was in an uproar when Ali fought Mildenberger.

In fact it was shut down for about 3 days.
