If Renee hit's poor old Willie, Willie's chin will be like the Humpty Dumpty after he fell off the wall.

I hope Willie (and safely assume Craig will), just build's back up nicely, coming along with some well-matched opponents before maybe a Super-Feather match-up against Will Tomlinson somewhere in the future which I think is a great little fight with the styles. (If Willie can still make Super-Feather?)

I thought Vic looked unwell in the corner between rounds he looked sickly. also didn't seem to worry him hie supposeded broken hand I wonder how fairdinkum that was or was it a smoke screen . great fight tough opponent but Vic just was not on his game and looked off

Mismatch really, BArcelona is a c-class boxer lucky to survive and get away with low blows. No speed, no power at all, 17 losses says it all, safe opponent for VIC IMO.Montiel would take these two out cold in 2 and 7 rnds respectively.

Totally agree, Willy needs to get down in weight a bit towards Super Feather otherwise he will get hurt against the bigger punching Junior Welters.

To me Vic looked like he was suffering in the fight.
Looked very pale in the face not sure if this had anything to do with the pain he may be feeling from the broken left.
Did see him shake the left hand a bit during the fight and truly looked like he was not using the left as much before round 5 he picked his shots and done well.

Yep, Vic is almost done at the elite level, i thought he was in danger getting hit with a Nonito shot again in early rd 11.

    Payday and retire Vic

    I agree.

But what has that got to do with jnr welter being too big for Kickett?

Fristly I was having a shot at a great fighter like Ranne fighting chumps ranked 800 in the world. :patsch

Secondly I think Willie would compete there...and I would back his speed and evasion over Wills.

Cool Willie will fight at 135 for sure but are you saying he cant fight effectively at 140?

I'm a bit lost here. You think he is suited at jnr welter because he would beat Wills? Is that the basis for why Willy should stay at 140?

Willy has a suss chin (proven) and leaky defence. He holds his hands low and he always will. And you want him fighting bigger guys now. :patsch

edit: unless you have some inside info that willy returned to boxing because of a burning desire to fight stevie wills then i agree with you - he would beat him.
