I hope Floyd accepts this and makes the fight however I do find it strange that Pac is willing to concede on this outside negotiations when he was adamantly against it when the fight was so close to being made.

It is so obvious it is hilarious. Why in the heck would Margarito turn down a fight with Martinez when Marg stopped him and Martinez is white hot right now? "Because I want to be available just in case..." Right.

Weren't you a Pac supporter? :think

    I could see that.

If that is true then I could see why the Pac fight would be in his best interests.

There's nothing to agree to anymore. Didn't Floyd get pissed off at last time's breakdown and say there won't be no 50/50 split and cutoffs for testing?

I agree. Arum is paying chess and constantly calling "CHECK!"

Right on man. I didn't mean as though you changed camps, but just hearing a reasonable post threw me for a loop because I saw you post pro-Pac in many threads. Just because you like a fighter doesn't mean you stop analyzing a situation. Good stuff. :good

    For the record:

-- No Mayweather wasn't "cleaning up boxing"! He was protecting his butt from a PED enhanced butt kicking.
-- Yes Mayweather, like every other top WW, was ducking Paul Williams.
-- Yes Mayweather, ducked Winky. It was an impossible fight to begin with.

You are exactly right! The point isn't to make a fight. The point is to throw something out there that non thinking Pac fans can latch on to and blame FMJ for the fight not being made.

now, what would be funny is for floyd to come out and agree, and say, lets get this signed tomorrow, and watch team pac stumble around and toss out a different excuse from each head

How did he duck him if the fight was impossible? Winky was already out of 154 by the time Floyd was there.:think

Pac could have had moar power in negotiations had he not cancel out the 1st time. Now Floyd has further proved to be a bigger draw and he just came back from a very impressive performance.

Drawing blood didn't hinder what $ is capable of in the ring at all.

and turned down a belt (actually two) so team pac can't use thier belt as a bargaining chip

and mosley took the tests (no cut-off)

and floyd has moved to one on some p4p lists

i really want to see this fight, but i have less faith than i did the first time around
