boxers that dont come in shape and then tell the public that they did not train are cheating the crowd the fans from their hard earned cash, should be made to give up their purse, or hand it to charity, or give it back to the promoter

i liked Mitchell and really thought he could do it,

now i think he is a complete knob, and he now makes himself look a total ******

It's safe to say Katsidis hasn't got the best chin, just a decent one. His relentlessness means he rarely needs to take full blooded power shots, because the other guy is just trying to keep him off.

Mitchell never looked confident from the moment he started his walk to the ring. The fight started and he got completely overwhelmed by a bigger, stronger and better fighter.

I honestly don't think there is anything else to it. Mitchell stepped up in class at a relatively new weight and couldnt handle it.

    Back to the drawing board.

Kevin got outclassed by a guy superior to him in every aspect. Katsidis played him like a fool then destroyed him. I hope Mitchell can come back from this but if everything else we are reading is true then I doubt he can stay as even Britains number 1.

His training had nothing to do with it. He was fighting strategically well but then he got caught. His shoulder roll is subpar. Trading with a powerhouse like Katsidis was a mistake and trading with Katsidis while badly hurt was just crazy.

I'd say it was his mental state; he looked tense and timid, especially when Katsidis got close. Plus his jab didn't have enough pop to keep Katsidis away and that just resulted in him getting bulldozed. Similar fight to Cotto-Jennings really.

Maybe, but his mindset was probably "don't get drawn into a war with this guy or I'm toast, I've got to outbox him".
