Is there any sign the HW class will pick up in the coming years or do we get a couple of overweight bums beating eachother up for the alphabelts from 2013 on.

We know both K brothers are retired by then.
Haye probably retires end 2011. (that's what he said at least)
Adamek wouldn't keep it up that long I guess.
Povetkin may be still active by then but doesn't seem to be really in it.
Solis looks like he's 300lbs by then.

Maybe Boystov. He's pretty active, has good power and is only 24...
Do you know if there are more upcoming fighters who are still young, have talent and spirit to make it and don't live in the neighborhood of a Burger King?

Odlanier Solis. Unbeaten, skilled, heavy but not flabby.

    Boystov, as you say.

    Dimitrenko might come again

Giant Ustinov is getting on a bit, but with the way HW's are aging, he might yet get soomewhere.

Helenius is unbeaten and stays in decent shape

Chisora is going to have to be careful about his weight, but you never know until you know

Nothing desperately exciting, but you live in hope.

Deontay Wilder you mean? Maybe, but he is still beating up corpses so we will see... Like George's son 'Monk' still totally untested.

I don't think Wlad will have retired by then. He has another 5 years in him (at least).

God. I knew someone would mention this goofball. Even in a division that's a step down from the current one, which is terribly depressing, this guy is nothing more than a poor man's Kali Meehan. Average skills, no power, and a penchant for punching himself in the face. Gimme a break. If he's ever a champ the division should be banned. :patsch

Honestly, there doesn't look to be anything too promising in the near future. As it stands, I'd say either Helenius or Boystov are the best of this up and coming bunch, but either one of those guys would probably get torn apart by a Klitschko.

A lot of people were making noise about Tor Hamer, but he just lost, so we'll see what he does from here.

    Kubrat Pulev.

I don't see what people are bitching about, is it because there are really no american prospects in that list?

No. It's because there's not one elite or potentially elite fighter on that list. At the very least we have have the Klitschkos, Haye and now Adamek. In a few year these guys will be gone, and most of the younger fighter are nothing special.

Nope there's none in there today also, is there? It's because there seems to be nothing special on the horizon. But I'm from the flat country, Pays Bas, the low lands, meaning the Netherlands so maybe for a few Yanks here?!
