Hearns, Robinson and maybe Napoles/Ortiz/Ike Williams. Arguello, Chavez, Mosley would be outside chances

In answer to the thread. Henry Armstrong if Duran decided to go toe to toe, but more likely he uses lateral movement as well and elects not to stand in their and fight. Gavilan, I was watching against Ralph Jones today was moving and using the jab in that fight. Thats how he'd fight Duran IMO

If we are talking an inside battle then i think duran is close to impossible to beat in that sort of stye, walker is a very interesting shout, he was seriously strong and powerful on the inside but how far removed was he from his prime there, i'm not sure of the answer, looking at his record it would appear he was hitting it around the time he was leaving but then had 2 losses in 26 before moving up permanently. Was he weight drained at the time, anyone shed any light?

Armstrong would be another one i'd like to see, i favour duran but i have to wonder even with what i view as his better defensive skills on the inside but how would he manage the sort of workrate that armstrong would bring to the brawl for the whole 15.

Since loads of dark horses are being put out there I'll sling Carmen Basilio into the mix.

No for me as a prime lightweight. Though Ike Williams would battle him tooth 'n nail.
