I'm boxing's eternal optimist and I believe Simpson and Lindsay will meet one day in the ring. They should've fought by now though.

The only Div fight i've ever seen was the shambles where he cheated against the japanese fighter so i reckon Lindsay will beat him .Theres a quiet very good kind of vibe about Lindsay i reckon he'll go far > He seems to step up when he has to as opposed to much heralded prospects who disapoint. I dont think he's had anything handed to him. On another note does anyone know what apleby is up to

Lindsay is a class act and having had the misfortune of watching Dibb on several occasions I can't see what he brings to the party that will in any way bother Martin.

Maybe Lindsay doesn't want to hang around at British level to be on the receiving end of one of those bad decisions. Simpson is a very good fighter but Lindsay is certainly not avoiding him.

lindsay isnt avoiding anyone... and as much as im delighted about this dib fight... i would still like to see martin defend his title in july and not sit idle until september which is a big possibility now

on another note... i cant wait to see simpson v smith... great match-up:deal

Thanks mate. The way I see it...I believe im the best featherweight out there, the only way to prove that is by beating John and Martin Lindsay. No point in being just another big mouth who says this an that an then fights no one...far too many of them out there

Said it before....I too would have liked to have seen Simpson V Lindsay, feel their styles would gel well and make a great fight BUT it never seems to be happening so from my point of view, why should I wait round forever when I can step in and fight one or both.

Dib lost to Luevano pretty clearly, so he should have been humbled by the complete schooling (despite Adelaide Byrd's ridiculously close card) that he received. The fight with Yamaguchi was changed to a no contest too, even though it should have a DQ loss for Dib.

Lindsay's nothing amazing (he was getting outboxed by Derry Matthews prior to that sickening KO), but he should beat Dib.
