Rhodes is far more deserving than some of the shite that's been fighting for titles lately.

    Stick him in :deal

Tim Bradley, Devon Alexander & Tavoris Cloud didn't fight the toughest opposition on route to world title shots did they?
These days it doesn't take that much.

I'll obviously support him if he gets the shot but I won't condone it.

Rhodes knows the score himself. Him vs Margarito (no2) in an eliminator. Perfect fight for him to earn his loss to Martinez, Williams or whoever.

Margarito would be a great great clash of styles. I wonder if Ryan has the power to break him down like Mosley did. Or maybe he can outbox him...who knows. Tough ask and he'd be the underdog but definitely not a long shot.

Be a good scrap at Light-Middleweight, Margarito hasnt really proven himself at Light-Middle whereas Ryan Rhodes is unbeaten at Light-Middleweight.

Infact I wasnt that impressed with Yuri Foreman against Santos and I would take Rhodes to beat Foreman.

I did engage and I agreed that, idealistically, people would have to fight better opposition to get a world title shot. But people don't get world title shots anymore, they get shots at alphabet straps of which there are four per division. If you want to discuss the alphabet thing we can, but we both know the score.

To say Rhodes doesn't "deserve" a shot at an alphabet strap, in today's climate, is churlish. Stop crying.:good
