When I see guys at the gym bulking up thinking they can whoop ass because how much they can bench press. I would always favor anyone who train in martial arts over them.

Of course some people overrate it. However, it isn't exactly useless to work hard in the gym, or even bulk up. A lot of people simply want to have that look.

Anyways... Pudz sure didn't remain the strongest man in the world for long during his fight. After a couple minutes he wasn't even the strongest man in the cage. His stamina is always going to be horrible with that build. Doesn't matter though... he is awful on the ground, and standing up. He has weak takedowns and wilts quickly. He also seems to lack mental strength as you could just see him cave in and quit. Tapped out to strikes even when he had a free hand to defend.... and they weren't even hard strikes. He will never make it in MMA.

The guy was exhausted after 2 minutes. Back to the roids and weights now Pudz.

Pudz carries the same "I'm strong, I will crush anyone" mentality that these gym rats have. Once they get in a real fight with a real fighter, they quickly realize they are outgun.

Heavy muscle will sap your stamina if you have zero cardio. He should go to Japan and get a few freakshow fights in there so he can make some money if he really wants to still pretend to be a fighter.

real fighters have also been hitting and getting hit for years upon years. Did you see how quickly Pud tapped? Most of the real MMA guys could have taken those punches for another 20 or 30 seconds easy. You take a guy who's been lifting weights his whole life, he doesn't know how to deal with getting punched in the face.

Very, very true. You don't get used to it like you can ignore it, it still hurts, but you kind of become numb to their effects. Like after you get stung by a bee, yes it hurts initially but afterwhile you just ignore the pain of it and it's just something that's there...not the best analogy but kinda works, and that's what it's like, at least when I was getting bombed on training Muay Thai and boxing. I was getting my ass handed to me! But I guess I had to do that to really learn what I was doing poorly.

No doubt. Bim Timmy redeemed himself :D Still props to Pudz for getting in the ring with an experienced vet like that. If Tim didnt win i guess he may aswell have called it a day.

Pudz was a muscle bound quit job and incredibly poor at every martial art. Hype over unless he goes back to the drawing board and puts much more work in. He took some good shots though.

If you have technique to use strength, then muscle isn't "overrated". Do you honestly think Brock could beat anyone if he was 220lbs?

Err hell yes. He would be a beast of a LHW, he wouldnt be able to manhandle 250lb guys easily like he does obviously.

But put him in with Timmeh at this point and he would take him down and control him with ease. Something a much stronger guy in Pudz could not even get near doing.
