Pudz proves again muscles/strength is overrated.

LHW? I was talking about as heavy of course. I don't think he would have stood a chance against shot heavy Couture if they were the same weight.

I think he would have. Just speculation though.

But then Brock would be more co-ordinated, have better stamina, be faster, more agile etc

Generally small guys have pros and so do big guys. It's impressive when these paths cross i.e. a middleweight Roy Jones threw punches like a minimum weight. A featherweight Naz threw punches like a middleweight.

Brock is a mammoth but has incredible athleticism, agility, explosiveness etc

If Brock was 220 pounds, he'd be even better in other areas and probably wouldn't be beating Couture with size but with speed, punch output etc

I figured that Silva would win within the distance but expected a KO.....witht he help of a gassed Pud. He wasn't very good at all in his 1st, 2nd or 3rd fight...Nothing really impressed me except for his definition regarding his build.:yep he should stick to being the wrolds strongest man or body building! I think he'd do better.

One thing Pudz said that I thought was really dumb. He admitted that Fedor would rip his head off at the moment, but in 2-3 years he wasn't sure. How the heck can he think he can pick up all that knowledge and technique in that time. That's like someone taking a few years off the dayjob and challenging tiger woods, laughable.

Man quit shitting on the dude. He's an ATG as one of the worlds strongest man ever and decided to try his hand at MMA and came up short against a veteran with tons more experience than him. No shame there if you ask me.

What has that got to do with anything I said? I like Pudz, I like how he went up there against Sylvia probably knowing he might loose. But I thought that statement was just stupid.
Take it back.. take it back!!

People mistake having some athletic abilities for being an athlete.

Strength is an athletic ability - but an athlete has flexibility, stamina, dexterity.

That's why weightlifters aren't athletes and gas out while taking a ****.

No it isnt the guy has to have some confidence in his ability. You already mentioned he said not not but in a couple of years what do you want him to say ill never beat Fedor ? He wouldnt but as a fighter you have to believe in yourself.

Agreed this guy came in as a strong man not somebody with a great Jiujitsu or Wrestling background and after 2 fights its expected for him to lose to somebody in Sylvia whos won and defended Championships and beat some of the tougher guys out there in the Heavyweight divison and has been in there with just about everyone who is somebody. Props for him to going out and trying. Its alot harder to go out there and try then it is to sit on your ass and ***** and **** on fighters like that poster did before.

The man doesn't know what to expect til he steps in deep water. Nobody knows for sure until they actually try, the man thought he had a chance but found out otherwise. He didn't know what it takes to be the best MMA fighter, so he said he wasn't sure. He didn't talk as if he is already a worldbeater.

If you don't have confidence in your potential, why even bother starting something if you already admitted will lose? Now he knows, but don't down on him for not being able to predict the future of his new and probably short career.

Well...... while I agree with you on the most part. There is some shame in preparing to beat others down but didn't prepare to handle a beating to get there. The guy folded too quickly when on the losing end, if he shown more heart and determination then I would give him his full props even in a losing effort.

I don't know much about MMA,but how is it possible for a man with little to no fighting experience to meet a former UFC champion(?) in his 3rd fight ?

(I'm sure this has been asked before BTW) :D
