Chagaev should have been able to finish this by now - Meehan is telegraphing everything and his defence is porous... Chagaev hasn't shown much to suggest he's a threat to any of the three title holders on the evidence of his performance tonight. But Meehan really shouldn't be in the same ring with him... And, like the earlier poster, my God I wish that stupid squealing woman in the crowd would shut up!
rd9 The flow of the fight has been the same for a while. Meehan leads and gets blocked, RC counter with a left cross and lands some of them and pushes meehan back. Meehan hasnt eben effective in pretty much any rd. he should go to the body some because he cannot land upstairs 10-9 Rc 89-82 meehan needs a KO
I don´t know what some of you guys expected. Chagaev hasn´t fought since his loss to Wlad and was pretty inactive before that one too. He´s shaking his rust off in there that´s all.
Since I have 6000 vCash on Chagaev to win, I'm hoping that the fight goes the distance because I was going back and forwards between 6000 Chagaev for the win or 2000 Chagaev by TKO. Played it safe and I hope I made the right call. :yep :hat
rd10 Meehan looks slow, lumbering and lazy in there. He isnt even competitive at this point. he cant land anything, RC pushes him into the ropes lands a few and backs off. less than stellar action. 10-9 Rc 99-91
Meehan's corner - rather unsurprisingly - telling him he needs to let his hands go from this point on if he has a hope... Of course, that means he'll be even more open to getting tagged by Chagaev so if he follows their advice, this could be the last round...
