Chagaev wins by decision I find the 3-6th best heavyweights tough to rank. Chagaev, Haye, Povetkin and Adamek would make a great tournament where anyone could win or lose against anyone else Chagaev-Haye is a very interesting fight if it comes off. Hopefully Haye takes a beating and the mess he has created is cleaned up
:-( Is there any need you arrogant twat? Just because you are the Brit Forum RBR daddy doesn't mean you can refer to yourself in the 3rd person.
What do you mean 'they'? You mean me. How long until TFFP, vBookie master pays out? Usually I'd pay up straight away, i.e. now, but you being a Man City supporter...
He was 2 fights away from sorting it out when he moved up in 2008. Two years on and he has yet to fight a Klitschko, and still hasn't fulfilled his promise of beating two top 10 heavyweights. I was a fan until recently, and even went to the Ruiz fight, but eventually I couldn't defend his blatant ducking of Wladimir any longer. After Wlad called him out I expected the ball to start rolling for the fight everyone wants to see. Instead we get his **** about resting (6 weeks after fighting) and ****ing laryngitis The man is full of **** in my opinion. I'd like him to prove me wrong by stepping up to his own challenge, but its not looking good :bart
He has beaten a consensus top 10 heavyweight, Valuev was a top 5 heavyweight. Ruiz was borderline top 10.
I don't think most people listed Valuev in their top 5 at the time Haye fought him, he was more like 7th or 8th on most poster's top 10 lists. Ruiz was arguably borderline, but I'd say that was mostly based on his earlier career. His wins in recent years certainly wouldn't warrant top 10 status 2 months ago edit; Also, when he said he'd beat two top tens it was implied that he'd do this while Wlad fought Thompson and Povetkin. Since then, Haye has beaten Barrett, Valuev and Ruiz. Wlad has beaten Thompson, Rahman, Chagaev and Chambers. Chances are Wlad will add Povetkin to that list before Haye fights again, and will have beaten 4 top 10s while Haye has only beaten 1, arguably 2
