    Good comment, Mares won the more dominant rounds but gave up a few rounds, you can't do that in a championship fight.

    You're being harsh here. It was a close round that could of gone either way. Perez was pushing the fight but all the clean blows were landed by Mares.

    Perez had it very securely in the bag at the 2:30 mark IMO. Mares did come on strong late, but a bit too late. Had he come on that strong a minute earlier there'd be a case for it.
