Morales-Pacquiao is the clear winner here but some people have only seen his recent fights...:think.

The first Barrera bout caught my attention...I'd been following him for a number of years, but that bout shocked me at the time.

Other than that, it has to be the two Marquez bouts.

i like pac-morales 1 and 2 but i think pac-jmm 2 was better in terms of match-up and displayed performance on fight night while being the most competitive of all of pac's fight. i gave both A+ for performance for both pac and jmm that time.

of course for the one-sided beatdowns, as a fan of pac, i admit to being emotional with his win over barrera and oscar. both times he was being dismissed by most experts.

Agreed. His earlier fights are very intense. There's no fear in his eyes, no reservations, nada.

Hey *******, Pacquiao was the underdog of the Oscar fight and he beat the **** out of Oscar, the real beat down, not some close fight with a clear winner like Morales-Pacquiao I. Manny won two of the three fights, end of story. Let me guess, you have the weight-drained excuse for the Oscar fight. By your logic, because Oscar was the favorite, Pacquiao should get credit for his win like you gave Morales credit for his win against Pacquiao.

    Morales-Pacquiao I = Morales outdueling/outboxing/outsmarting Pacquiao
    Pacquiao-Oscar = Pacquiao destroying Oscar.

See the difference, idiot? You can't say Pacquiao got "destroyed" until somebody does the same beatdown to him like he's done to most of his opponents.

Even in a losing effort, my favorite Pac fight, hands down, is his first fight with Morales.

It can only mentally effect you. Blood from a few days won't evaporate his power. I've seen Pac complain and it just makes him look like a *****. He also complained that he drew with Marquez because of the socks he wore. Eat that nonsense sore-loser stuff too why don't you. Morales was clearly past it and weight drained by the time of the last two fights. Of course, you skew context to your own accord. Of course Morales has a great chin, and he could of talk smack about Pac's power for whatever reasons.

    Either

A - Pac giving a tint of blood evaporated his power

B - Morales beat Pac with great boxing skills

Tell yourself which one is more reasonable. Pac lost more blood from the cut in the fight than the blood that was taken days before the fight for christ sake.

    Can't really decide

Barrera I was amazing because I think everyone was shocked at what Manny did. Morales I was a real all out war and is fun to watch even though Pac lost. It was Eric's swan song, and Pac put in a lot of heart in that fight. Marquez I was amazing because Pac floored Marquez 3 times in 1 round and because of the amazing comeback Marquez did. Marquez II was such a tense, tactical, back and forth fight that it makes you appreciate both fighters skill (seriously, it was really close and no one schooled anyone in that fight). Morales II was amazing as a Pac fan because it was close at first and then it ended in a dominating fashion, so emotions ran really high on that one.

Pac really took them both by storm.

    Any of these fights.

    1. Chockchai 3K Battery (1997)
    2. Sasakul (1998 )
    3. Ledwaba (2001)

Those 3 had the greatest impact on me. Mind blowing stuff.

Probably like your first hit of crack. You can never replicate the intensity and the effect of the first time.

Maybe you can come close to that in the future, but never quite the same intensity as your first hit.

If his career had suffered a downward spiral and basically ended after the Sasakul fight, he would have still been a legend in my eyes. Storybook ending.
