It's part of the sport to expose your opponents weaknesses. There is nothing wrong with going for a particular area to damage your opponent and cause a stoppage.

Yeah, great. I didn't say there was. My original comment was "distasteful but intelligent". It's within the rules, it's a good tactic. To me, personally, it's not the most honorable way to go for the win. Expectations for these two guys are set very high. Finding out that this grotesque ending was exactly what Rafa had in mind was a bit disappointing to me. That's all.
