I had Mares winning by a round.

But crying robbery is disgraceful, he certainly didn't look as though he was snatching the belt off Perez waist as he was on his bike, giving up a fair few middle rounds.

It cost him the fight, he looked gassed and caught the second wind and closed out real good on my scorecard.

Still, a draw wasn't too bad.

Those who score round 9 for perez are scoring using the amateur scoring system. Mares did more damage in round 9

Far too close to call it a robbery. I had Mares just nicking it. Had Perez got the nod, I think that would be a robbery. Can't really complain.

Close fight. I gave it to Mares, but can we stop using the word robbed in these situations. Holyfield-Lewis 1 was a robbery or what happened in Los Angeles in 1995. Those were robberies, this was a close decision that is unpopular to some people.

I thought that it was close, but draw was a good decision, nothing to complain about

methinks you are just being bias towards a mexican fighter
everyone there was also cheering "mexico, mexico", I can see how easily this could get to your head

 Freddy you're smarter than that, difference is that Mayweather doesn't get hit while Mares was getting hit when he was back peddling.

I'm gonna take a guess that Mares is from Mexico and Perez is from NOT-Mexico

spot on, I'm surprised he was able to come on so strong to be honest. He looked winded and it looked as though Perez's power was too much and then he came on and swept the last three rounds. I didn't score it but 2 points either way or a draw is reasonable. That was a tough close fight and I'm sure there will be a re match
