What does the scorecard have to do with it? All you need are two very very close rounds that you think could have gone either way and that equation=draw. 8-4 becomes 6-6. If you paid attention to all the cries of robbery around here, you'd have to conclude that there were no properly scored fights ever ever. All just a bunch of guys robbing each other. Close fight. Agree, Mares did enough to win. He only has himself to blame though. He danced around in the middle rounds.

I had 6-6 and would have been OK with a decision for either man. Mares definitely ran during middle rounds and gave them away, but he certainly did come on strong. I think I had it 6-3 Perez prior to the final three rounds.
