Prescott hasn't done **** since knocking out Khan...Khan has beaten Barrera and Malignaggi...I'm not sure Prescott deserves to fight the much bigger star again.

Agreed. Prescott has lost two fights since beating Khan, although he won on his last outing.

I thought it was pretty much consensus that Maidana was Khan's chance to redeem himself, a "substitute" Prescott if you will. It makes more sense as he is a fighter very much on the rise, a bona fide 140 pounder and a puncher in the same mould.

Clear, clear case of ducking if Khan does not want a rematch. Got his ass kicked and doesn't want any more of that.

If he becomes a legit 140 fighter and establishes himself after a few fights, it should happen. Prescott deserves the shot and Amir deserves the opportunity and has the responsibility to silence critics. Would be a good fight.

Bredis could be khans cryptonite. I remember watching the fight live when the were showing him getting warmed up. I knew khan was getting KTFO then. Bredis is very tall for LW and is lanky with power. A perfect style to deal with Amir.

    Barrera was shot and Paulie...well...

    Prescott still popped Khan's cherry.

So I can see reason for this fight if other big fights aren't happening next... like Khan vs. Alexander, Maidana, Bradley...even Ortiz.

But if I were advising Khan, I'm not sure I would risk it given the bigger fights are the ones I listed above. To much to lose. Self-Pride is the only thing to gain back. I know people like the thought of fighters fighting for "pride" but this is the Pro level and it is about money first.

First off Khan will never take this fight and neither will Freddie.

Anyway after watching the fight vs paulie I was actually pretty disappointed in the way Khan performed. Sure Khan executed the game plan, but his punches looked pretty flimsy. I doubt those would make Bradley or Alexander respect his power.

On a side note in the Jr WW div, Maidana looked really outta shape in his last fight vs Cayo. Even though he still baped the kid with one shot, he looked at about 50% of what he was vs Ortiz. and maybe thats why he pulled out vs Bradley. You could tell just by the way his body looked, let alone his foot speed.

    anyone else agree?

About the Malignaggi fight the only thing I can say is that perhaps Khan never sat down down on his punches because Paulie is too fast; was going for speed and accuracy over power. Perhaps, I'm not sure. I also wasn't too impressed with Khan; I already knew he was good, he didn't show me anything new.

I know it's money motivated but he's giving Kahn a chance to avenge a loss. They can't use the nobody wants to see this fight excuse...:verysad

I think Khan is looking at fighting someone with, you know, a little less punching power.

    Agreed

They'll only fight someone with punching power if the money is right

All things considered. On the other hand, this isn't such a bad fight for Khan to take.
