Which Drawn-Out Potential Fight Saga Has Been The Most Tedious?

I honestly can't see Pacquiao-Floyd not happening, far too much money involved for it not to happen.

 

Both are extremely tedious. I've given up caring about both fights until they're actually signed.

All this talk of ducking, purse splits, venues, drug testing is lame.

 

Its not often I advocate stickies but maybe one is in order for these 2 fights for people who want to discuss PEDs, contract law, drug testing etc. so the rest of us can talk about boxing?

 

Yeah I'm hoping that's the case too.

Back to topic a little bit here (Sorry lads) but am I the only one who finds this everlasting topic of the Haye/Audley fight ****ing very tedious.

It's a nothing fight and I only here Audley talking about it. If it meant something Haye would have been shouting about it but as it is, he's merely humouring Audley and idiots like PK talk ****

 

Yeah, people seem to think Sky/Aud' have ALL the bargaining power.

Haye isn't going to waste his time IMO. Now the Wlad fight is off (and Vitali indisposed) SURELY Adamek is the logical fight.

-Not a humongous puncher, but still dangerous

-Took up Haye's reigns at Cruiserweight

-Pretty decent standing in current Heavyweight rankings

-Perfect fight for either Haye in the US, or over here, Wembley stadium, all the Brits and Poles go to watch the fight, absolutely huge, exciting fight too.

 

I'd love Adamek/Haye but Adamek is fighting Michael Grant!

Haye should be fighting a lot more regularly at this point of his career. He'll only fight two times this year - not good.

 

Grant will be dangerous IMO. Although he's also one of the large Heavies Adamek can probably K.O:yep

Adamek-Haye would be a quality fight. Haye gets his shots off first and breaks Adamek up to a stoppage in about 7, possibly having hit the deck himself.

I think Haye is just going for 'Event' fights now; his training schedule means he just gets into good shape for one or two fights a year, and doesn't seem to worry too much for 'ring rust'.

Which is a shame, because I think thats precisely what cause him to look sloppy at times.

Only because i've had enough of people overating this pampus Angenteus plodder and i just wonna see Amir put the science on him as i believe he would. Most battles are won before they're even fought. 90% of Marcos' wins have come from stalking and walking someone down, not to mention that unorthodox but effective in-fighting. however, this simply won't be the case with a more skillfull and polished class of fighter in Khan. guys, you're missing the style matchup in this fight and are holding on too tightly to Marcos verses someone who will make him look amateurish. Can you perform like Mayweather in "May" weather? lol

I might be doing a lot of apologizing when this finally gets signed, sealed and delivered for peppering these boards with my insistence that not only will Amir Khan win, but it will be an easy fight for him. I'll even throw in some analysis on how Khan could emulate Terrible Terry and how Roy Jones would have even been more dominant, in the 90's, if his buddy Mclellan didn't suffer that tragedy; shout out to Gerald G-Man, the best two fisted destroyer since Monzon!!
