I always liked that mag...it was high quality and always rivaled Ring in my estimation. What I wish was there was a "classic" magazine..a magazine equivalent of the classic forum where the emphasis is on great fighters of the past.
You say that now . Be prepared to be bombarded with threads over the next few months; I have only got though two mags, and I must have at least a couple of hundred to go!!!
I'm reading through your threads now, some interesting stuff love hearing opinions from different era's on active fighters of that time and even their thoughts on past greats.
Keep em comin TBooze - and enjoy the researching aswell - I've got a couple or 300 ring magazines (dating back to 1940's)/boxing monthly's etc etc aswell in my cupboard so I may try giving something like that a go from time to time myself aswell - keep it up buddy
