I dunno if anyone else has come across this, but this sunday morning OneHD is showing the Vitali Klitschko vs Albert Sosnowski WBC Heavyweight Title fight LIVE from 5.30am EST/ 3.30am WST. Not the greatest fight i know, but nice to see OneHD showing some live boxing....i guess its a start.
Top pick-up Kegsy. Pity they serve up only the ordinary fights though. Got up early for their last televised fight, Vlad vs southpaw Tony Thompson, and it was a snoozefest! Might set the recorder this time.
I expect another dominant Klitschko performance & probably a bit of a snoozefest depending on how much heart Sosnowski has to hang in there. Wish OneHD instead showed the Vazquez-Marquez 4 card instead of this....there are plenty of quality cards Main Event & FOX Sports dont pick up that they could show live.
I think that's good news. Great to see they're showing it, it's better than nothing. Spread the word. As boxing fans, it's still good to see live boxing on the tube.
Surely it must be about money? The better fights must just cost more than they are prepared to pay. Still they are nibbling away at FTA fights, and as Contendo said (oops, as Ippy said), that's gotta be a good thing for the sport.

I'm surprised we get to see a fight live on free to air. Great news, lets hope we get to see many more on free to air.
everybody needs to watch this to support one HD, so they can keep putting up boxing like this for the future.
Well everybody should also email the stations and pass on a bit of appreciation / thanks for putting it on. Doesn't matter if it's Fox, MainEvent or 1HD, we as fans are quick to complain about not enough boxing coverage in this country but lads, tell the networks and they'll know people are tuning in which is ultimately what they want for ratings!
