Has Pacman fought anybody as good as Mosley?

LOL. A thinly disguised hate thread attempting to undermine a fighter's credibility. How new!

It's not a pound of muscle. Cotto was making 147lbs easily, so it would have just been a bit more draining, which isn't significant.

The reason it was at a catchweight, was to suit the WBC who wanted a big fight to showcase their catchweight crown, the Diamond Belt.

    This.:good

Pacs opposition and the time he fought them is better than Mayweathers period. It's the reason most people have Pac a few spots ahead of PBF when compiling ATG lists, myself included.

Barerra was arguably prime. EM 1 and JMM were far closer to prime than Mosley. Mosley was about 8-10 years past prime when Mayweather fought him, still a good fighter though so feck knows what went wrong.

2003 Marco Antonio Barrera was better than 2000 Mosley so you better believe it was better than 2010 Mosley, also.

The Miguel Cotto that fought and lost to Pacquiao, was easily a better fighter than the Shane Mosley that was humiliated by Mayweather. That Margarito win, really did dupe us in to thinking Shane Mosley is a better fighter now than he was when he lost to Cotto them years ago.

MAB and Morales are better IMO, Suksul, Cotto, JMM, Lebawa are better than a 38 year old SSM.

The Margarito that Shane fought that night was not mentally conditioned, so as Shane during the Floyd fight.

Barrera, Morales, Marquez, and Cotto were all better than this version of Mosley which is the best fighter PBF has ever faced.

As good? Absolutely....with names like JMM, Cotto, EM, MAB, DLH ect.....he's faced many fighters as good and better than the 38 yr old version of Shane we see today. Shane's still a great fighter but I think it's safe to say he's not in his prime.

Agreed! A prime Shane Manny hasn't faced the likes of....but then again neither has Floyd. DLH has and he'll indicate just how good a prime Shane was. A prime DLH can also be thrown in to the mix.

Nah bro.....Cotto at 145, 146, or 147 is the same Cotto regardless. It's pushing it to say that Cotto was somehow "LESS" at 145 than he was at 146 or 147.
