Pacquiao throws a right hand straight out with his left foot behind his right foot, so that's a jab.

Also, I was talking about 3 different things.

1- Pac uses his jab against orthodox fighters to set up his other shots. (see the 1-1-2 below)

2- Against other southpaws Pacquiao can snap their heads back repeatedly with jabs. (I don't have a gif but if you saw the Diaz fight he did it repeatedly).

3- Pac can use his jab not only to lead but also in the middle or at the end of a combination. (see the gif in my previous post)

i see that reach advantage playing a big part in this fight...there both so good but somethings are just natural advantages..not saying it cant be overcome because it can...but with a boxer like Floyd who is very smart and crafty in that ring....i expect him to use that extremly well in their fight.

    A. you can't see his feet

    1. don't use ODLH gifs to show how good pac's jab is, use a gif of someone who isn't a walking corpse. pac is a great fighter...his jab is not great (i hope he uses it against floyd, it would be his undoing)

    2. again...diaz? puuuulease, and what does pac using his jab against a SP have to do with an ortho fighter? nothing

    3. see A and 1

    A. You can see the top of his legs and its pretty obvious.

    1. you mean like a gif of Pacquiao using his jab to set up a knockdown of a prime ATG fighter like Barrera?

    2. It has to do with the fact that Pac has a great jab that he uses in the right situations.

    3. Pac will use his jab against Floyd to set up his other punches and to keep floyd guessing on the defensive, like he always does very effectively.

Floyd usually never switches stance in a fight....but then again he's never faced a guy like Manny so he may switch things up. That would be interesting b/c I heard that Manny has been working on fighting righty.

Angles....you don't need to sit in the pocket to fight on the inside. Some do, but Manny shifts angles when throwing in combinations...but he's always on the inside or close enough to reach his opponents with his shorter arms.

Everyone Needs to do their homework on Pacman and Mayweather.

Watch every fight on them you can.

You will see, that no matter what Manny brings to the table, Mayweather will be able to adapt to.

You will see, that no matter how good May's defence is, Manny will get through, from time to time, just like most good fighters.

In the end Mayweather will adapt and outbox Manny. Bet the house on that ****.

Let's just hope Floyd isn't that stupid to think so.....otherwise it will be Floyd's first loss for taking PAC lightly. But if that were the case he would have already fought Manny.

Mayweather fights southpaws differently. He doesn't use the shoulder roll, he uses a shell defence. THe only thing that makes this fight truly competitive is the fact that manny is a southpaw.

much better example (gif) and i do think MAB 1 was pac's best fight

but, i think, his jab, and his hand at his waste, will get him in trouble

either way, whatever you or i think, i know we both want to see the fight

Actually....that is only ONE reason. Manny's speed, talent and athletic ability are on par with Floyd and that's something NEITHER man is use to. The style match up is also very interesting given that they are extreme polar opposites which are going to match up well for us fans. The styles will present problems for both fighters given that counter puncher give Manny problems and guys with equal or greater speed, soutpaws and pressure fighters give Floyd issues.

i totally agree...and having P4P 1a/1b in the same weight class, both close to the top of their game, it's just amazing

now, i hope we get to see it

Me too!:yep This is our version of Ray/Hearns or Hearns/Hagler or Duran/Leonard. Floyd and Manny are without question the best fighters not just in their division but the entire sport of boxing.

Both are in their absolute primes....both are VERY experienced....their seasoned vets working with a very high level of intelligence given the amounts of BIG fights they've got between them.

This is a perfect storm for boxing and I'm sure the money will be enough to get these two parties to make this fight happen.
